A rare pea from Belgium, the name translates to mean ‘Hope of Gembloux’. Gembloux is a town in Belgium with a long agricultural research and seed tradition. It was released in 1953 by the Centre de Recherche Agronomique de Gembloux This was a quite low growing pea for me, about 2 feet tall, with incredible yields. Unfortunately I did not get to sampling any of its pods, so cannot attest to the flavor! Much thanks to Jan in the UK for sending these peas! 20 seeds/packet.
