Regrown for 2026. Mesmerizing green seeds, such a lovely and unusual bean color. We’re indebted to the legume expert D.N. Shoemaker, an agricultural scientist active in the first half of the 20th century for this bean. He was involved with documenting and classifying seed varieties. I believe Mr. Shoemaker collected this bean in Kenya in 1930 and brought it back to North America.
