Bigarradda Gris-Negre Pole Bean Seeds

A new bean I received in 2023. A Catalonian bean from Spain.  The most noteworthy quality of this bean is its record breaking production – I’ve grown a lot of pole beans, and this variety has outperformed every bean in my collection. 2 1/4 pounds from 4 plants, that is the highest volume of dry beans I’ve ever collected from a P. vulgaris garden bean. It also happens to be incredibly pretty, a smokey, speckled grey bean with black swirls. Extraordinary dry bean variety, a great choice for serious dry bean production.
