Velvet Yellow Tomato Seeds

Now these tomatoes were a delight to grow, especially for the tomato scientist in me. This is an odd duck for sure. The plants are super fuzzy, really grey and hyper velvet. The fruits come on super late, this might just be one of the latest tomatoes I’ve grown – especially for a cherry. These are tart cherries, not having a lot of sweetness but still very tomatoey. Even the fruits have a tiny bit of furze. Production was really good. Even though these are such a late variety, I found them sort of practical. Virtually every other cherry tomato for 2023 was spent by the time these really went into production. The last tomatoes we were eating in October were from these plants. 2023 seed.
