This is a cherry that’s been around for a long time, and I didn’t have much desire to try it. But this one turned out to be worth a trial. The fruit is excellent, both sweet and tart, with a nice complexity. Red cherries are a bit larger than average. This one is very popular in Australia (so it can handle heat) but it’s really an heirloom from the Ozarks, the home of many other wonderful heirloom vegetables.
