Sloot Pole Bean Seeds

A new bean to me in 2023, this somewhat famous bean in the bean collecting world usually goes by a slightly different spelling… cough. I’m not sure where the bean acquired it’s name, but I do know that this variety was brought to North America by the wonderful seed hunter Joseph Simcox. While a black and white coloration is found in many beans, this variety seems to mix it up a little differently. There is some grey shading thrown into the design of black speckling on white. 3 plants produced just over a pound of dried beans.
