An old German heirloom pole bean, dating to around 1939. It used to be very popular in Bonn and the surrounding area and was bred before the Second World War by a well-known Bonn vegetable grower from the Lengsdorfer Speckbohne. Very long green beans, lots of pods! Really high yields and early to boot. Seeds are pure white, fairly large and kidney shaped. Name translates to ‘Glory from the Foothills’. Rare. 2024 seed.
