A really lovely storage tomato, and one of the most traditional looking longkeeper tomatoes I’ve seen – a deep, classic red. Looks exactly like a regular beefsteak, but not intended for immediate use. The fruits when fully ripened to its red color, will still be quite firm. In storage they soften considerably and are ready weeks or even months after picking. Once soft, Ruby Treasure does not last as long in storage as some others.
