Very productive variety, brownish black coloured hearts. The fruits were quite juicy and large. Not one of those paste-y oxhearts. Heirloom from Germany. This is one of only two brown oxheart varieties that I know of. Would make a good Valentine’s gift for a devoted gardener, if they grew in February.
