Olga’s Round Yellow Chicken Tomato Seeds

A surprisingly good tomato, with a melodic though deceptive name. I think it’s from Siberia. But the tomato isn’t yellow, it’s orange (it’s also not a chicken!). Was Olga even real? I found this variety quite similar to ‘Jaune Flamme’, another tomato with yellow in the name that is actually orange. It’s often tomatoes like this that I grow, with only modest expectations about what they’ll be like, that catch me by surprise with how good they are. Yummy. Size to about 5 ounces.  Collected in Russia in the 1990’s.
