Lunchbox Red Sweet Pepper

I was expecting a red version of ‘Orange Lunchbox’ and this was actually quite different, these were considerably smaller, though the plants did produce many more fruit.  These are little peppers, which are perfectly sweet though they may not look like it.  At first I didn’t think this was a super practical size, but over the summer I realized that for an omelet, a bowl of guac, a plate of nachos, or some smaller dish these fit the bill rather well.  I’d otherwise cut open a larger pepper and then have to wrap it because I didn’t need the entire thing.  So, a small pepper for small dishes.  Yields were pretty incredible in the ground out in the open.  (The plate is a harvest of 2 plants.)
