Langenauer Stangenbohne Pole Bean Seeds

An old Swabian variety dating to the 18th century. Pods are long, green and covered in purple speckles. For use as a snap bean. Excellent production and vigour. This bean has a fairly long history, and disappeared from its homeland of Langenau for a long time due to the Turk wars preceding 1717, though it appears the bean is finally finding its way back into the gardens of its homeland.
