Khabarovsk Pole Bean Seeds

A Russian bean gifted to me by a generous seed saver in Washington State. A lovely dry bean, XL large, a cream colour flecked with burgundy. This bean can handle all kinds of weather, and matures mid season from direct seeding. I was impressed with this bean’s qualities given that it was not transplanted. Early, vigorous, hardy, great yield. Drying pods are mostly dark purple with some green speckling. This bean was originally collected at an open air market in, you guessed it, Khabarovsk Siberia back in 1990. Because the seeds are so large I will include 20 seeds in a packet. 2023 seed.  Received from generous grower Jack Halloway of Salem, Oregon.
