Jembo Polish Pole Bean Seeds

A large snap bean, conceivably from Poland, given the name, though a friend tells me it is no longer grown there. Seeds are very large, and also handsome, in beige with black swirling streaks. I had no trouble getting this bean to dry down, which is a surprise given this is one of the largest seeded Phaseolus vulgaris species I’ve grown. A nice bean for sure. And for anyone who eats shelly beans, this is a good one. Medium productivity in 2022. Rare. Gratefully received from the wonderful collection of Chris Hoetschel, Oshkosh, Wisconsin.
