Hutterite Bush Bean Seeds

A European heirloom bush bean which is for dry use, soups in particular one would think given the name. Was introduced to the US in the 1870’s, via Austria, by Christian Hutterites escaping religious persecution in Europe. Seed is a beautiful shiny, pale greenish yellow with a characteristic dark grey ring around the eye. ‘Ark of Taste’ selection. A wonderful bean variety to keep alive to honour the memory of their original keepers.  2021 seed.
