A wonderful new snap bean variety I tried in 2024. Pods are green, flat and wide, definitely not pencil pod types. These mature mid season, and are quite high yielding. A very rare bean that I received from a seed saver who received it from a seed collector in California, though whether it originates there I can’t say. The seeds are quite large and flat & pure white. It seems to me like lots of selection went into this bean. 2024 seed.
