A very old shelling pea variety, dating as far back as 1806. Grows to about 3 or 4 feet, with deep green pods containing about 5 peas. Like many of the old English heritage peas I’ve tried, the taste is fantastic and sweet. It is quite resistant to weather related problems, including high heat and excessive rains. A superb pea. Limited quantity. 2021 seed.
