Golden Egg Eggplant Seeds

I’ve done some research for this variety – one of the first eggplants I ever grew – and it seems this one comes from New Zealand. I do find that there is some variation within the fruits, which is odd, but the description on the packet mentioned that. Some of the plants produce eggplants that look exactly like pure white chicken eggs, while some produce fruits that are slightly bigger and start off more golden coloured. All the fruits turn bright yellow eventually, when the seed is mature, but some start out golden from the start. I kept the seeds from the pure white egg variety separate and would like to focus on keeping that particular expression going. I think it may be the same variety as ‘Golden Egg Tree’.
