Frauenbohne Bush Bean Seeds

This unique German heirloom is considered by some to be one of the most beautiful beans in the world. It’s a dry bean, and is somewhat soil sensitive. The bush plants are extremely tall and thin. I eventually drove in some bamboo and tied them up so they wouldn’t flop over with the weight of full pods. The seeds are something else – the base of the seeds is white with wine red faint speckles, swirls and splashes and some golden brown mixed in. Needs to be seen. Name translates to ‘Woman’s Bean’. Very rare. 2023 seed.  15 seeds per packet.  Gratefully received from the wonderful collection of Artur Kobylecki, Kielce, Poland.
