A traditional Portuguese bean, with really pretty speckled pods that grow in both pink and purple. Makes for a really lovely show on the plants. This one is eaten as fresh snap beans primarily, but also can be used for dried beans. A later maturing variety, but still was able to fully dry down in my Northern climate here in Sudbury outdoors. Fabulous variety, one of the last fresh eating beans to be eaten after the other poles had all tired out.
