Empress Bush Bean Seeds

An American heirloom bush bean. A heavy yielding, great tasting green bean. Several seed companies rate this as one of their best tasting varieties. Seed is white. The 2021 crop was for seed, so I didn’t get to try many fresh. I was certainly impressed though with how many seeds I could collect from such a small patch. It was introduced by Gurney’s in 1979 and had a devoted fan base.
