Echte Kipfler Pole Bean Seeds

A very old Southeast Austrian heirloom bean, which produces a ton of curved pods in green and purple speckling. A little later maturing. Like most kipfler beans the yields are very, very high. Pods can also be eaten when small beans have formed inside the pods. This is a very popular variety in Europe, where ‘croissant’ or crescent beans like this are more common. This particular kipfler bean also goes by the name ‘The Real Croissant’. I guess the other ones need to move down the bench! Pods are mostly for eating fresh, but the dried beans are often cooked as well in soup. 2023 seed.  Gratefully received from the wonderful collection of Artur Kobylecki, Kielce, Poland.
