Daržinėlės Pole Bean Seeds

$5.00

An heirloom Lithuanian pole bean variety,   the name literally means “little garden beans”, presumably a reference to the fact that these were kept among regional seed savers in their backyard small plots.  A dual use bean, whose long, wide, flat green pods can be eaten fresh and the seeds saved for soup beans.  A very rare & special find from Artur Kobylecki of Kielce, Poland.
