Pole Bean Seeds
Crevette Kidney Pole Bean Seeds
$4.00
Another new favourite pole bean for 2023, from France. This bean was originally collected by Joseph Simcox, that fabulous ‘Botanical Explorer’ in Europe and brought to North America. 6 plants produced almost 1 1/2 pounds of dried beans. The pods on these beans are the most shocking hot pink specimens I’ve ever seen. They are really something. I received them described as a semi-runner, but after growing them I’d be more inclined to call them a full fledged pole. They dry down easily and the plants are quite robust. Seeds are a creamy grey base covered in black flecks, on the large side, flat. Very rare. 2023 seed Gratefully received from the wonderful collection of Russ Crow, Woodstock, Illinois.
