A really exceptional dry pea variety, Charlevoix completely surprised me with it’s huge yields even though the vines only grow to about 3 feet. I usually see this kind of production on the super tall pea vines, up to 6 or 7 feet. Charlevoix peas are a mix of colors and speckles, but the peas are the same size as modern peas even though this is indeed a historical dry pea from Quebec. The blooms are really beautiful as well. Rare. 2024 seed.
