One of my most treasured beans. Fantastic production and such a gorgeous blue speckled variety. This gem was brought into North America by the incredible world travelling seed hunter Joseph Simcox, who has introduced such incredible biodiversity to the seed world. The dried beans are somewhat large, very round, and have true blue speckled seedcoats. A fun quirk of these is they do uniquely well in Canadian summers, because extremely hot summers will cause the blue to fail to develop. They actually need our cooler summers to become blue. Maturity is quite reasonable, typically dry before first or just around. 20 seeds per packet.
