An absolutely outstanding variety from the 2025 season, one of the highlights of the year. Plants yield long, flat green pods speckled in purple quite early and are very prolific. The vines are dripping with them. These also go by the name ‘Butterbrodt’, or ‘Schwertbohne’ which means ‘sword bean’ – a reference to the long, flat, big pods.
