Now this is a blue tomato with a twist – at mid-maturity the fruits turn pure lavender. Was released in 2012 by tomato genius Tom Wagner. Such a transformation of colour in a blue tomato, comparable only to ‘Brad’s Atomic Grape’ which also goes through a similar lavender stage, though in that case it’s rather metallic looking. It’s weird, but I adore it!
