A red slicer, more round than beefsteak shaped, really good production. I thought the taste was good, though I found the fruits slightly on the firm side. They were perfectly formed and uniform though, so some specific breeding seems to have gone into them. A rare variety carried by few seed vendors, originally from Switzerland. I liked the name with it’s chess reference 🙂 2024 seed.
