Corn Seeds
Descendant of wild teosinte grass, heirloom corn is a marvel of assortments. Popped, boiled, ground up, it makes for truly delicious food. Many people with smaller gardens feel like corn is takes up too large an area for the space they have, but it’s amazing how much food you can harvest from just 25 plants. Not all corn grows to an enormous size, and most of the corn in my collection has been chosen, at least partly, based on the plants not growing too large. In terms of caloric density, corn is actually very productive per square foot.
Packets contain 50-100 seeds so there is pleny of genetic diversity present.
