Camphor Basil Seeds

This basil is not for the spaghetti! This is the stuff clean sinuses are made of. A heady, powerful, transporting medicinal aroma drifts from these plants. Camphor basil extract is one of the oils put in Vicks Vapo-Rub. I really enjoy this herbal smell, and the plants are surprisingly easy to grow. By early July the plants were fully flowering. The leaves are not smooth as other basils, but greyish green and slightly fuzzy. Annual. Both the dried leaves and the seeds remain very aromatic, makes collecting seed such an enjoyable experience. 2023 seed.
