Schäfermädle Pole Bean Seeds

A European heirloom bean from Germany, the sweet name means ‘Shepherd Girl’ in Swabian dialect. Seeds are small, 3/4 maroonish burgundy with a white bit. Superb production, and pods dried down to suction to the dried beans. Lovely seeds. This may be a sign of beans eaten as ‘full beans’ – green pods with developed beans inside.
