An heirloom from Quedlinburg, Germany. Bred by David Sachs for his Seed Nursery over a century ago. This bean can be found listed in German seed catalogs as far back as 1913. For use as a green snap bean. A true piece of living history. Bush bean. Originally from the collection of Russ Crow.  2021 seed.  Gratefully received from the wonderful collection of Russ Crow, Woodstock, Illinois.
