Kaiser Alexander Cucumber Seeds

Named for the Russian Emperor Alexander, who must have been German given the Kaiser designation! I do believe the Romanovs for several generations remained 100% German, so this must be the connection. Anyway, a very nice slicing cucumber that is good to eat at about 6 inches. Crispy and juicy, the production was pretty good but not astounding. Heirloom cucumbers can’t really compare to their hybrid siblings in that sense, but that’s okay with me if the seeds come true. What I really like about these, though, is when totally mature the cucumbers turn a crackled brown. It’s a sight. Nice variety, and uncommon. 2022 seed.
