Lu Qing Pole Bean Seeds

In 2023 I tried a number of heritage Chinese bean varieties – and I was deeply enamoured with all of them. All unique and displaying different qualities, even on the first grow out I could see the difference in all the pods and tell them apart. Lu Qing is a very tender, long podded flat bean variety – about 8 to 10 inches long. Not quite like a romano I would say, but similar. Production of pods was mid season, and of the 3 varieties I tried this was the most productive though a bit later than the other 2. I could tell right away that this is a wonderful steamed bean. Very lucky to find a bean so unique as this. Seeds are white and oblong. Rare. 2023 seed.
