Staley’s Star Bush Bean Seeds

An Australian heirloom bean!  This variety was originally distributed in the early 20th century by an Australian seedsman named Arthur Staley.   A green snap bean with nice yields.  A bean which teeters on the brink as it’s offered by so few places.  Seeds are a beautiful deep burgundy color, and the plants are tall for a bush.  I received this bean from seed preservationist Russ Crow in Woodstock, Illinois.  Seeds are burgundy.  (I forgot to take a photo!)  20 Seeds/packet
