Black Badger Dry Pea Seeds

The ‘Black Badger’ is a heritage field pea, a dark-coloured dried pea traditionally grown and eaten in northern England. It’s often sold under names like Black Badger peas, black peas, Carlin peas, grey peas, or maple peas — depending on the local dialect and region.  These peas have been cultivated in the British Isles for centuries, with field pea consumption documented back to at least medieval times.  Plants grow to 3 or 4 feet.  A very historical pea! 20 seeds/packet.
