Kärntner Butter Pole Bean Seeds

A heritage bean that originates in southern Austria.  My favorite wax beans of 2025, this was a fantastic choice for the North.  It’s ultra early and super high yielding, two traits which often don’t go hand in hand.  The vines were just loaded with flat, wide, buttery yellow pods.  By August 21st, because I was not harvesting the beans so I could save the seeds, there were already fully dried pods on the plant.   This is one of the earliest pole beans I think I’ve grown yet.  A really delicious wax bean.
