A beautiful European heirloom bean, purchased originally by a lady in Austria from an Italian bean company. A fantastic dry bean variety for the North, extremely productive and early maturing. Seeds are beautiful, white with deep plum speckling over the eyes. Name translates to ‘Diamond’, and I think this may have something to do with how darling these are. Rare. 2023 seed. Gratefully received from the wonderful collection of Russ Crow, Woodstock, Illinois.
