An heirloom bean from the markets of Spain, Tenerife is in the Canary Islands. A bean for dry use, ‘Zebra aus Teneriffa’ is a highly productive variety, grows vigorously with very easy to shell pods. Seeds are medium sized, and form very well with no culls. Color is a speckled grey stone base seedcoat with black swirls and specks hence the zebra reference in the name. Tidy growth habit, and quick to mature, excellent production. Rare. 2024 seed.
