Castellfolit de Boix Semi-Runner Bean Seeds

A rare historical bean from Spain, Barcelona in the municipality of Castellfolit del Boix. This bean has been grown in Castellfollit del Boix since the 16th century! Grown for use as a green snap bean or as a dry bean; there is a somewhat shiny exterior on the fresh beans. Huge yields for semi-runner plants. Traditionally it is dry grown. This variety was very impressive and I’m so glad I was able to find it. Seeds are small and white.
