Bis Bush Bean Seeds

A European heirloom from Poland. A yellow wax bean type, intended for use as a snap bean. These are such strange little bean plants! Tiny, low bushes with clusters of beans growing close to the ground, with fairly large, wide, flat pods. The dried pods are an odd shape, with one side of the pod having the waves of a rooster comb. Even a small row can still produce a good deal of beans. The dry seed is quite marvellous too – a slate greyish cream with a royal blue graphite shading over the eye. Very unique. In storage I suspect they may lose that colouring, but time will tell as it was grown in 2022. A special bean.
