A lovely shelling pea variety that has been grown locally in Sidmouth, Devon for many years. Vigorous vines grow to about 6 feet tall. The pods are fairly long, 5 inches or so and contain 9–12 large, sweet peas. This pea was once offered by Heritage Seed Library in the UK and was highly praised for its sweetness by HSL Seed Guardians.
