A rare Russian tomato variety, bred for ‘ultra fast’ maturity. It was more like mid-season for me but a great tomato for shorter seasons, and areas with higher precipitation. Tomatoes are smooth red globes, and make an excellent slicing tomato. Tremendous yields as well. Like so many of the Russian tomatoes, it has excellent suitability for Canadian climates. Rare! I received these tomatoes from the wonderful short season tomato collection of Paula Dubeski in Alberta.
