A special runner I received from a seed saver on SSE. This is a white version of the Insuk’s Wang Kong runner bean. After growing Insuk’s for several years, he selected toward the white flowers only. Five generations later, the plants produce white flowers and white beans with brown flecks consistently. He named the bean after his wife who collects beans for him from various countries. Such a productive runner bean, and it can be eaten at every stage of development. Given that runner beans in Canada are not very diverse, it’s nice to have such a unique and pretty variety. Seeds are very large, 8 per pack.
