Queen of Malinalco Tomatillo Seeds

Tomatillo variety that is rather unusual – shape is pointed, and the flavour is more complex, slightly sweet and lacking in the sourness that tends to characterise this vegetable. The fruits are yellow, somewhat hollow, and have a flavour faintly similar to ground cherries and tomatoes. Difficult to fully describe the taste, but totally unlike any of the more sour hardballs I’ve tried. Plants grew to about 4 feet in tomato cages; 3 plants filled a banana box with tomatillos. Can be rooted very easily from cuttings if they overgrow in spring. Obscene production even when grown caged. 2022 seed.
