Big, meaty, red tomatoes with a slight point to their bottoms. An American family heirloom from the Gallucci family of Connecticut. Such a heavy handful! I can see why these would be listed as cooking tomatoes in catalogues because they are so meaty, but I think they’d make good slicers too. Wonderful aroma when cut.
