A cut above the rest canning tomato – unrelated to ‘Plum Lemon’. This one has meatier, denser flesh and more beautiful fruit. An opaque clear bright yellow, almost shiny. Aroma of cut fruit is wonderful. A Virginian heirloom that is more than 100 years old. I can see why this one has stuck around!
