A small, sweet shelling pea, ‘Misty’ is a variety I liked very much. Considering the plants only grow to about 2 feet, their yields were really good. I was able to harvest a surprising amount of pods from the short vines. Though there is an expression ‘self supporting’ peas, I recommend always supporting your peas no matter their height, unless you’re growing an acre of them because they produce so much better that way. Misty was not supported well in 2023, and my yields were poor but in 2024 I gave it proper support and my yield was quadrupled. Very nice fresh pea. 2024 seed.
