These little orange peppers, not quite bells as they have a slightly pointed bottom, but close, were impressive in every way. The fruits were very sweet, and roasted up very well (if quickly) and the plants produced a shocking amount of pods. This is such a great pepper variety I plant to grow the Red Lunchbox to see how it compares. 10/10 rating for this one. 2023 seed.

I planted lunchbox peppers on the east coast during the drought of 2025. The plants were very prolific, and the peppers were so sweet!
My children loved to eat them for lunch, and I also had plenty to put in “snack packs” for the market, with cherry tomatoes and mini cucumbers.
Lunchbox pepper is a great name for these, for they are perfect little snacks!
